Tari Trowbridge, CFP®, CLU®, MBA
For 24 years, Tari has been assisting individuals and families with navigating through changes in their financial lives, whether it be changing jobs, the death of a loved one, financial changes due to marriage, babies, divorce, inheritance, or a host of other life events that create a need to make important decisions. Her process involves asking questions and listening to the answers so she can create a plan to meet each person’s individual goals. In addition to her extensive background with all types of investments, her background with Prudential Insurance gives her a unique ability to analyze life insurance plans. Sixteen years working in a banking environment allowed her to see many different people in a great variety of circumstances, creating a breadth of experience she can apply to current and new clients alike. She started Trowbridge & Co. Wealth Management Group as a way to continue that service independently, locally, and with the freedom to work with less “bottom-line” pressure.
Tari earned a BS in marketing from Pennsylvania State University (Go, Lions!) and her MBA from the University of Maryland. Financial advising has always been a passion—a lifelong saver with a personal motto of “The richest man is not the one who has the most, but who needs the least.” The ability to help clients reach their personal goals has always been a thrill. The idea of clients coming in with a problem that they don’t know how to solve and leaving with a solution that is specific to them and gives them a road map to achieve it is her ideal outcome of every meeting. Her goal is to take the worry out of a person’s finances, so he or she can truly enjoy the aspects of life that are important to him or her.
In addition to traditional academic education, Tari has worked diligently at industry education and keeping abreast on current trends, regulations, and products. She earned her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) certifications and was a moderator for Life Underwriter Training Council classes. These classes, as well as annually required continuing education classes, not only educate her in important changes but allow her to interact with other professionals and learn what they are doing and thinking as well.
Tari and her husband, Thor, are lifelong residents of Bradford/Wyoming county and currently reside in Laceyville. With five children between them—Cody, Zach, Tim, Pam, and Jack—and one grandchild, Mia, they enjoy the dynamics of a large family. Tari was a past member of the Wyalusing Area School Board and is a soccer referee on weekends in the fall. She enjoys healthy cooking and exercise and participates in a variety of competitive races (triathlons, mud runs, running events). She and her husband enjoy traveling and have been to many countries, which has led to an appreciation of other cultures.
Customer Relationship Manager
Pamela (Pam) Kelley began working with us in various capacities in June 2015 as an intern, setting up our database and Facebook page. She has since filled in as needed in this role and came on board full-time in April 2017 as our customer relationship manager. She graduated from Wyalusing Area High School and is currently attending the Pennsylvania State University World Campus pursuing a degree in finance. Her long-term goal is to complete college, get licensed and credentialed, and begin meeting with clients.
Pam enjoys spending time with her dog, Ammo, and her cats, Richard and Savvy. She also loves spending time outdoors hiking, fishing, and hunting—last year, she taught herself how to shoot a compound bow and harvested a 8-point buck in archery season! She coached U-12 soccer last year as well. Pam recently purchased her first home and is renovating it in her spare time. If you get a chance, stop in and meet her!
